Saw what the NYM did and I think it was fun, so I am gonna do it to.
C- Daric Barton- 9.6 arm, hell of a bat, awesome range with, little low on fielding%, but still top 3 C spect in the game today. 1st base-Adam Dunn- 1.105 OPS vs. R, 4.7 speed from a 1st baseman isn't bad. 2nd base- Jose Reyes- led league in hits in 2005 looking to do the same this year has a .422 BA with .706 SLG% on the year, vitals of .953 OPS from a second baseman with BA of .342 wit ability to steal 80+ bases, not to shabby. SS- A-Rod- led league in HR's in 2005 and is on pace for 70+ SB's this year. 1.03 OPS and 1.082 OPS from a SS/3rd baseman fits just nicely. 3rd- David Wright- 1.03 OPS and 1.083 OPS, that looks like mini A-Rod, awesome defense, really good speed, pretty decent 3rd baseman. LF- Chris Colton- good speed, with a decent bat, looking to be the low spot of the line-up, with a .985 OPS and .842 OPS with potential of 40+ SB's thats not to shabby for a low-spot. CF- Carlos Beltran- .957 OPS from both sides, with speed to get him 65-80 SB's and awesome defense. Best CF'er in game. RF- Lastings Milledge- He's the franchise here, this guy is gonna be the face of the franchise- 1.085 and 1.033 OPS with speed to get 65-70 SB's, power to get 45-50+ HR's, and awesome fielder. Milledge is the man to watch out for in MVP voting year in and year out.
#1- Kaz Tadano- 80% GB, awesome for Coors, great vitals, with a 7-1 record so far his season, looks to be the future ace to the Rockies rotation. #2- Ian Snell- This man can do it all, no his bat isn't Babe Ruth like, but he is the closest thing we are gonna see to Babe Ruth's talent. This man can pitch, and he can hit, gives the Rockies a 9th hitter in all of his NL starts, his 75% GB is key to his success in Coors, though he is off to a slow start, he did have a 12-1 record last year as a rookie, and is going to be a great #2 starter. #3- Michael Hinckley- Great pitcher for Coors, decent GB%, with great SLG% against, has one bad pitch, but will be very servicable in the 3rd spot in the rotation. #4- Jung Bong- Very nice #4 L SP. would be at the lowest a #3 on most staffs, this should give him some favorable match-ups, which will help him get some more wins. #5- Sean Smith- Low point in our rotation, gives up some long balls, has an awesome Fastball, and Curve is really good to, the change-up is above avg., his last two pitches, he should just forget how to throw them, but thats prob. why they are so bad, cause you can't forget something you don't know how to do in the first place.
RP- Tom Sanchez- REALLY nice RP, throws the curve more than his fastball, somebody should really talk to him about that. Doesn't give up alot of big hits, main problem is the walks. Devon Lowery- Awesome Fastball and curve, the rest is above avg.- avg. but he should be a really nice guy out of the pen, when he could be a closer for alot of teams. Justin Huisman- This guy is special, his GB% isn't very high, which sucks for Coors, but he has great vitals, so hopefully that evens out for him, and he can be a servicable guy out of pen.
Closer- Ryan Wagner- Very well possibly the best young closer in the game, his Change-up and Curve are nothing more than above avg. but the Fastball and Slider are untouchable, and two of the best pitches I have seen any pitcher in the game throw. He gives up below .140 BA, .223 OBP and .253 SLG% vs. R, man is untouchable, and as he gets older, he should perform tremendously closing out Colorado's games.
Basically what this is saying is:
Line-Up All but 1 hitter has potential to have 200+ hits with 30+ HR's.
All but my C has potential to steal around or above 40 SB's. And all but my C, 1st baseman and LF have potential to steal 60+ SB's.
All but my 1st baseman and C have fielding% over .984%
Rotation- Built around ability to pitch in Coors, and will more than keep my team in games, while my hitters will just crush the ball.
RP- When needed they will easily keep me in the game, and my closer, when I have games of 3 run difference, will be able to give me a win.
