Since everyone else is doing it and I have a lot of time on my hands, I'm projecting the future of The G-Men.
Staff **1. Ryan Madson-One of the few players I don't need to write a blurb about to make them seem good 2. Noah Lowry-His 3.59 ERA this year has led the Giants to 7 wins. Only 25 years old. **3. Francisco Liriano-Should join the Giants' staff early next year, has nasty stuff and is only 22 years old. I'm surprised the real Brian Sabean actually traded him for AJ Pierzinski : ( 4. Hong-Chih Kuo-Had a very good year last year but slipping a bit this year. Great fastball. Only 25 years old. 5. Daniel Cabrera-With his blazing 99 mph fastball he could be up in the majors as early as this year. Currently in AAA at 24 years old. 6. Frank Francisco-One of the best fastballs on the team. Could be a reliable spot-starter.
Bullpen Rp. Brian Cooper-Had a good year in AAA and is already in big leagues. If it weren't for his two bad starts in Colorado he'd have very reliable stats. Su. Joe Adams-Should be a while before he can make it up but he could give the bullpen a needed lefty. Su. Bob McRae-Doing very well in AA. Has a lot of potential. Only 20 years old. Cl. Jeremi Gonzalez- Gonzalez is on the way down yet is performing consistantly on the major league level. A lot of this depends on whether he's resigned.
Position Players C. Justin Knoedler-Leads the team in RBI's and backs his .285 batting average with .375 obp and .396 slg. Emerging as the team's future catcher. 1B. Travis Hafner-Leads the team with 15 home runs and .481 slugging. 2B. Angel Chavez-One of the team's most productive hitters in AAA this year. Would be in the majors right now if the Giants weren't too stingy to give him a contract. SS. Cesar Izturis-Very good fielder and contact hitter. 3B. Aaron Hornstaj-Should turn into a very nice hitter and fielder. LF. James Tomlin-Tearing it up at AAA this year. his .318 batting is first on the team. CF. Freddie Lewis- Freddie is a walk beast. He's got 72 total walks in 89 games. RF. Paul Cross-Doing very well in A ball. Could be a very good hitter.
Bench Macier Izturis Lance Niekro
