Denver Post-
The Colorado Rockies, who started the season off at 10-20, is now inching there way towards a hopeful playoff birth. The reigning GM of the year for the NL, has clawed his way up from one of the worst in the league again this year starting 10-20, to bring his team within 5.5 of the division and within 5 games of the division, after the addition of Carlos Beltran, to replace Valentino Pascucci and Sammy Sosa in the line-up the team went 7-2, since the 10-20 start the team has gone 53-30, which means they are now 63-50 this season. Thats a turn around of 43 more wins with only 10 more losses. If the team makes a run in the playoffs this year and improves on their first round knock-out they had last year, can we smell a second straight GM of the Year for the Colorado Rockies Dan O'Dowd?? This reporter thinks so.
