The Reds ownership announced today that they are firing GM Dan O'Brien. It has been rumored that Dan O'Brien was let go due to his horrible relations withs most of the GM's in ucsl. The front office feels that, even though they are greatful for the work O'Brien did over the year and a half, they understand the organization is in dire need of a facelift and overhaul. Theyand they have already found a replacement in former "bash brothers" Jose Canseco and new team manager Mark McGwire. Raffy Palmerio has been hired on as fielding coach, while the great Barry Bonds, fresh off retirement, has been hired as hitting coach, and in a surprising move, Roger Clemens has been named pitching coach. The only surpirse about Clemens is the fact he is the only coach on the staff NOT ever acused of steroid use, which of course has lead to rampant rumors about the HOF pitcher!!
