All Star Voting is open! I've already gotten a couple of ballots, but I needed to put out an official announcement. I am thinking I should do the All Star Sim the day before next week's weekday sim, to give time for voting and such. So I will leave it open until Wednesday at 4 PM ET, and compile and announce results then. Then I and MON will pick the remainder of the teams, and I'll sim the game Thursday afternoon, doing the regular sim at night.
Rule V lists will also be able to be turned in until Wednesday at 4 PM ET. I need to go through the contracts and make sure everyone who is supposed to have one does, and that will be done tomorrow afternoon when I come home from work. I'll make a post once that is done so you can begin sending in lists.
I also have sent out the questionnaires for league official positions, and will open voting once I have all of the responses. That way the new agents can begin the resigning process.
Below is the section from the Tutorial on how to do All Star lists, if you don't remember or didn't already know how. Just follow this, then email them to me!
Once you select this option, it will pop up a list, asking who you want to vote as. Double-Click the team you run, and it will bring you to the first page, "**American League C". After you vote for this position, you move on to the next Position by clicking the DROPDOWN box. It is pretty easy from here. You can sort the players by each stat by just clicking the top stat of the column. To eliminate a player from consideration, RIGHT CLICK the player in the list, and select "Eliminate Player". You can select multiple players to eliminate at once by clicking a second, third, etc player while holding down the Ctrl Key, then right clicking and choosing "Eliminate player".
Once you have chosen who you would like to vote for, RIGHT CLICK him, and select "Vote for Player". After you vote for each position, a Popup box will appear showing the status of your voting...which positions have been voted for, and which positions still need voting. Just close this window, and it will AUTOMATICALLY move on to the next voting position. GM's will place votes for both league's, not just their own. Once all voting is complete, the program will ask you to SAVE the ballot. When the ballot is saved, the filename is shown and you are asked to Email that file to Me so I can process it. Once the voting deadline has passed, I upload all of the votes, and it creates an HTML page showing the vote leaders. We then use that to determine the year's all stars!
If needed, you may go back and change votes on positions already done at any time if you change your mind. Just click the dropdown menu, and select the position, then re-vote. There is no need to cancel the vote, as going back eliminates your previous vote.
Players are listed at the positions they have played the MOST games at this year, even if it is not their normal position.
The 3 OF positions are all listed separately, OF1, OF2, OF3...you will need to vote for each one. HHManager will tell you if you have already voted for one of the OF listed.
