Peter Gammons is reporting that Mark Shapiro is looking into bringing in two veterans in for what could be a world series run for the Tribe. The replacements would be for strugglinng youngsters Edwin Encarnacion and Franklyn Gutierrez.
Mark Shapiro declined to comment on the speculation.
The hot rummor around Cleveland is that Shapiro is in serious talks with the Angels. Its believed that they were asking about the availabilty of Michael Young and Miguel Tejada. It hasnt been confirmed which of the two the Indians will be receiving, or what they will be giving up. It is believed how ever that the Angels have interest in A SP Ben Craig.
