Following a heated debate between General Manager Pete Mense, newly named Dodgers Manager, Jim Tracy, and reserve outfielder Brad Snyder over the lost of his starting job to James Loney and Neil Moran. Synder went on a tirade about how the new regime is explicative, explicative, and how Mense doesn’t know how to run a team, was tossed from the train so-to speak and sold to the Minnesota Twins for 1.5 million dollars.
“Snyder just wasn’t cutting the cheese the right way, and we felt that he was a cancer to the organization,” said GM Pete Mense. “ Truly hope something could be worked out here, and he would’ve been happy with team, because we liked him, just not enough to start, he reminds of Pete Rose, less hits though, but better defense.”
Snyder was quoted as saying, “I lost my job to two dumb explicative, and now they wish to keep me around as a bench player, to hell with that, I’m starting talent, and that’s what I’ll do in Minnesota, I don’t care what anyone says, I’m Hall-of-Fame talent!!!!!!!” “If Cooperstown is all about taking players that can barely hit .250, with good defense, then the place would be twice the size it is now,” said Right Fielder James Loney. “Let that explicativecomplain, we don’t need him, we will win/lose without him, and more or less win without that explicative here, but when you diss the Regime and the Organization, that’s just not to swift,” said Jim Tracy.
Snyder’s career in DodgerTown didn’t last but 2 years and he hit a combined .240, .325, and .351 with 175 hits in 730 At-bats. He struck out a total of 205 times, had great fld (about the only good thing about him). He didn’t fit in.
Despite what he was called, GM Pete Mense came out and said this, “We wish him the best of luck in Minnesota, he had a good 2 years with the organization, and we hope he can finally find a home in Minnesota.”
