This thread is a vote to elect the NL Agents for the 2008-2010 seasons.
I will post the Agent's responses to the questionnaire sent out below, and all following posts are to be votes only. Any posts involving anything other than a vote will be deleted.
Now, to the survey responses-
Kyle (TOR)
-How has your experience in the league prepared you for this position?
I've been an agent and good gm since the league started.
-Why would you be a good candidate for this position? Are you familiar with the commitment required?
I've been an agent and good gm since the league started. I'm one of the most active gms still and have been since the league started
-How familiar are you with the league rules?
Very, I've read the rules a few times.
-What is your goal in becoming a league officer?
To make the league as fair as possible
-How often will you be online and available to other league members?
whenever I can which can be quite a bit.
-What aspects of this position would you expect to enjoy the most?
Making the league fair for everyone
-What difficulties do you think you could face in this position and how are you prepared to handle them?
Same as I have it the past. I have final say unless mike overules.
-What do you like about the league?
The fact that it has been around for quite awhile and their are plenty of veteran GMS.
-What don't you like about the league?
Inactive GMs
-What are your hopes for the UCSL in the future?
That it stays strong and if at all possible we can keep the same GMS for each team, that way when a GM puts a plan in place for a team it can stay that way.. and teams are not ruined.
-What more would you like to say in support of yourself or any of the other candidates?
I'd just like to say I think i've done a very good job in the past and would love to keep this position and prove I can continue doing so!

How has your experience in the league prepared you for this position?
I have been the NL hitters Agent since the league was created I think id be perfect to stay NL hitters agent
Why would you be a good candidate for this position? Are you familiar with the commitment required?
I would be good for this position becuase I have done it since the league opened I am very familiar with the commitment required
How familiar are you with the league rules?
I know 99% of the rules and re-read them every once in awhile to keep them fresh in my mind
What is your goal in becoming a league officer?
My goal is to be fair and to the teams and the league, and to continue to do a good job
How often will you be online and available to other league GMs?
I am on line at least 2 times a day and can always be reached by PM and email
What aspects of this position would you expect to enjoy the most?
Negotiating contracts and the interaction with other GM's
What difficulties do you think you could face in this position and how are you prepared to handle them?
I think I face the difficulties of GM's thinking their player is asking for too much and what not and I am prepared to handle it by stating why the player wants what he wants and if they still aren't satisfied sending them to you the league Commish
What do you like about the league?
I love everything about the league.
What don't you like about the league?
the lack of sims sometimes(but understand commish's sitiuation and life comes before sim so I can deal with it)
What are your hopes for the UCSL in the future?
More GM activity and everyone to have fun
What more would you like to say in support of yourself or any of the other candidates?
Id just like to say I am the only agent that has continued to do his job during the transition time of decding new agents. Therefore I should all but be an automatic lock to keep my job.
Mike (SEA)
How has your experience in the league prepared you for this position?
Well been here from the beginning so I know how much certain players should get and how long contract should be.
Why would you be a good candidate for this position? Are you familiar with the commitment required?
Been here since the beginning, I'm pretty trustworthy. I would fight for the right contract as agent. If it helps I'm an agent in another league so its not new to me.
How familiar are you with the league rules?
Pretty familiar with it,. worse comes to worse I can always look it over to make sure everything follows the guidelines.
What is your goal in becoming a league officer?
Making sure the players get fair contracts
How often will you be online and available to other league members?
You can usually find me on AIM but if I'm not on emails or pm's are quickly responded.
What aspects of this position would you expect to enjoy the most?
The bonus for doing so and giving out huge contracts
What difficulties do you think you could face in this position and how are you prepared to handle them?
Lowballers, players would be FA after 3 tries lol.
What do you like about the league?
It's fun when it is active
What don't you like about the league?
When it's dead, delayed

Its more consistently active(more simmers in case Mike can't)
