It seems every year there are people hitting the refresh page over and over up till the last minute before the deadline before they place a bid on a free agent, A rule should be put in place that gives an hour ( or some other time ) after the last bid has been for the other teams bidding to bid again, this way the person who is willing to pay the most for the player get him, and not who can hit the refresh button the fastest. wrote this fast, if it doesn't make sense i'll rephrase it

I don't think he meant that. Just that the bid for a particular player shouldn't end until at least 1 hour (or some other determined time) after the last bid was placed. Pretty much the way in season FA works. I'm not against that.

nah, make it so the team that had got out bid also has an hour to match the last offer, and so on. maybe cap it out at 3 times so it doesnt go on forever.. lol

no there shouldn't be a cap on it, but I believe that it should be if you get out-bid you have 1 hour to respond until 1 hour goes by without a response(after the initial deadline)

If we are going to give 1 hour after the last big we should end the regular bidding at like 7 pm so it wont go to whoever can stay up the latest.

5 works as long as its a weekend so people aren't still at work.

so instead of who can hit the refresh button the fastest or who can stay up the latest were going to go with who can stay online the longest?
btw I hope we vote on this and not just implement it..just my 2 cents

if we cap it we still have an advantage... so how about this
FA goes for 2 days getting the top 3, then each team has 2 days to give their best offers for the players, then after the initial 5 PM deadline, if their has been a bid since 4 PM then each team has until midnight to send an offer to Mike(with their being only one offer that can not be changed nor taken back.
This way FA only lasts a total of 5 days and the winners posted within 7 days of the start of FA.
