We all know we are not supposed to post on a disputed trade once a TC has been established if we are not on that TC. For some reason, it still happens. So I propose that we punish or reprimand any team that speaks out of turn once a Trade Committee has been formed.
1st violation - 2M 2nd violation - 5M 3rd violation - 10M 4th violation - GM is suspended from making any veto's and from participating on any trade committee for a certain period of time deemed by UCSL officials.
OR...
1st violation - 3rd round pick 2nd violation - 2nd round pick 3rd violation - 1st round pick 4th violation - GM is suspended from making any veto's and from participating on any trade committee for a certain period of time deemed by UCSL officials.
The violations can be debated as well as starting and ending point in terms of when the violations start over. For example: 1-4 violations accumulate over 2 UCSL seasons.
In closing, this would limit GM's who are NOT on the TC from voicing any displeasure or argument after a TC has been set, keeping the responses uninterrupted on the actual disputed trade.

I think this is nuts. There is no reason to have such stiff penalties for something that can be fixed with an easy delete of the post. It is unrealistic for a team to be punished that heavily for just speaking out. Don't be a communist!

But it is true, there is too much tampering after a TC has been set. Like many have said before, take it to the trash talk thread. This only enforces it. You know, it is pretty easy to follow a rule of don't post any messages after a tc has been submitted. I dont know why this wouldnt be a problem then if the rule is that cut and dry to follow.

I definitely would be in for something like this. Every thread seems to turn into a flamewar or people adding in their two cents. Even if someone says "take it to the trash board", there are more posts after that, when it should be the end of it.

I agree. Why am I never on a TC?

because you have trading problems. You would veto every deal to give the teams more time to think whether they want the trade or not

I agree. Why am I never on a TC? Don't feel too bad, I'm never on one either...

the idea of penalites probably would help the league somewhat...but the fines are waaaaaay too high...this isnt a Rudy league...teams are allowed Freedom of Speech here...

Again, this doesnt condem freedom of speech all over the boards. This penalizes the teams who cant follow rules. The rule is not to post anything on a trade forum when a TC has been set. Some people have "problems" following it and this would help nudge the people who have a clue in the right direction. If you wanted a Nazi regime we could always fine the current Cincy owner 1M whenever a post appears...
