let's face it: we don't want the league to run dry any more. thus, i have a rule change proposal, adapted from one from the HHSL, assuming we have the same capabilities when it comes to drafts as them. you get 1 point for each roster you send in. you get 1 point for each livesim you attend for more than 10 minutes. then we have a draft lottery for picks between the 1st and 2nd rounds. a certain amount of picks are randomly selected (either 3 or 5) and more often than not the most active teams will be rewarded. similar to my old proposal here: unclecharlie.proboards19.com/index.cgi?board=Rulechanges&action=display&thread=1144684740EDIT: 10:30 Saturday Morning Whoops, forgot to explain how we do the lottery. We would add up the points and assign them alphabetically (example-Anaheim Angels attend 5 sims, send in 8 rosters, get 13 points, get numbers 1-13. Arizona Diamondbacks attend 2 sims, send in 1 roster, get picks 14-17). Then the person running the lottery (I volunteer to) goes into a chatroom and enters the command //roll-dice 1-sides (total number of picks here) and it will give random numbers between 1 and the total number of picks. If the number 8 gets chosen, the pick goes to ANA. If the number 15 get chosen, the pick goes to AZ.

my only objection is that some people CANT attend a live sim due to work or what-not...other then that I like the idea...

good suggeston, kyle.
the people that can't attend all sims still have a chance to get compensation picks. they don't lose anything because nobody is guaranteed a pick in the first place. if they send in a roster every sim, they'll have plenty of chances in the lottery.

understand that I was simply saying that it could give unfair advantages to people because of things beyond their control...

P.S I think it's a good idea.

Not a bad idea, but A)This doesn't necessarily help bad teams, which could further unbalance the league (considering usually the most active GM's are also the best teams, so now on top of that they have the possibility of getting the #1 pick), and B)It's ANOTHER thing to try to keep track of...and we know how that has gone...
