I have an idea, to our recent problem in UCSL, Sean wants a team where it doesn't need attention cause it is far from competing, and we have 2 GM's that have asked to join, and 1 wants the Dodgers the other wants the Reds(MON's brother) so why not have Sean take Minn. since it will be the hardest of the 3 to find a GM for, and then have the other new guys take over the other 2 teams. Since Sean just wants to get out of Cincy, and into a team that needs no immediate attention due to lack of ML'ers, then that should work out perfectly, and get us a full UCSL.

sounds good but wont work for 3 reasons...
1st...Minny is a nuetral park...I want pitching and they are AL which is harder to make a pitching team...
2nd...If I wanted an AL team I would have been this persistent about the A's...but I dont want to EVER have to deal with COL as an agent...that comment he made in the sim when I first asked mike about the A's was enough to convince me the AL wasnt for me...
3rd...and probably the MOST important...I would LOVE to be in COL's division..it'll be great to win that division...though it wont happen until like 2017 but hey...im young...
here's my solution suggestion...MON's brother said he would take Minny if he couldnt get Cincy....well just give him Minny...the guy who wanted LA gets Cincy....and I get LA....simple and everyone is happy...

also(and not sounding bitchy here)....this has turned into a matter of principal for me...after the whole RJ thing and COL saying since under the current rules what he did with the TO was fair(and in his defense he was right...the rule didnt prevent that)....and that since that was the case no way should RJ's contract not be valid... then I try to do something to the same extent...something within the rules...and what does COL say then...that I should have to pay compensation this season to move(which was NOT a rule)... might sound petty but oh well...thats how I feel 100%...hope no one thinks im more of a bitch then I know 90% of the people here do....but again hey...I just say my mind...im the Jose Canseco of this league...you either love me or hate me....

Well the thing is, there's a person who wants the Dodgers. There's a person who wants MIN. So hence, if he were to remain in CIN, ALL TEAMS ARE FULL FOR THE OFFSEASON. But due to spite, he wants LA or nothing, so no matter what the case, a team will be open (new guy wants LA, not CIN, other new guy wants MIN). Either CIN or MIN will be open. I'm so sick of all the childishness in this that I don't even know what to do. Sometimes I'd swear some of these gm's were 3rd graders. And I'm sorry if I say anything unreasonable but after staying up ALL NIGHT and talking about this with him, trying to be as fair to the whole league as I could, and coming to absolutely nothing except new reasons for it, I'm at the point where I really just don't care. I'm going on no sleep today now and have gotten nowhere....well aside that I begin the day pissed.

I disagree with forcing Sean to take MIN. When LA and MIN were open, he asked for LA and there was some question about it but just as much if not more people saying no problem. Even I at first thought it a bad idea but came around and gave it the ok. With no rule in place I don't see how we can say no. Further, I don't see how we would consider giving a new gm precedence over an existing one? This shouldn't be this big of a deal, especially for the Commish. I move to let Sean take LA, MON's bro take Cincy and if the third guy wants in the league, then he has to take MIN and part of gm rule is that he gets first pick at relocating next year if anyone quits (or gets kicked out by Stoneman ) This shouldn't be that hard and doesn't have to be.

IMO, the new GM isn't getting first choice of a GM in the league, the new GM is getting a choice of the 2 teams that were available, and he asked for LA, then MON's brother came in and said he wanted Cincy but if they aren't available he would take MINN. That leaves Cincy and Minn. between the two teams. The new GM isn't getting first choice, they are getting a choice. Just like Cincy got when he joined the league. Trading A-Rod to MIL makes him under cap and gives him a minor league system then he has AJ Burnett to trade if he wants to continue to build his minors. It won't take to long to do, look how fast he got rid of A-Rod. SO why is he moving in the first place?
If it is so easy to trade these guys and build a minor league system without having to worry about his ML because it won't be any good. Then he can move his team to a new stadium at the end of this season, cause after trading his ML team away he will have the money to do so. He will then have his pitchers park, and his minor league system and won't have to worry about his ML team. I dunno I just think that seems alot easier, when a GM asked for LA specifically, a GM said he would take MINN. so whats the problem? We'd have a full league, and Sean would get what he wants it will just take a week or 2 to get his team that way, and then change stadiums. IF he doesn't like that then take the Twins and have MON's brother take over Cincy. Either way everyone gets what they want, the league is full, and there shouldn't be a problem, this is ridiculous for this to become such a big deal, Everything he wants his team to be will take two weeks to make, and then at the end of this season, he can buy a stadium, then there is no switching teams and there is no problem. I mean there is so many solutions to this problem where we have a full league, so why not choose it. WE actually have a GM willing to take MINN, I mean if the LA GM would rather have Cincy than LA, then that should be up to him, cause he is the one without a team right now, not Cincy. I dunno maybe I am looking at this wrong, I dunno.

Um isn't it first come first served, Sean asked for La before the other guy, so really it Sean's to take. If the other guy wants Minny then we have a full league.

It was never said to be first come first serve, but I thought it was if you have a team you already got served, if you don't have a team then you haven't been served.

Its posts like this COL that make it so confusing though. Too many words...bottom line is this, BEFORE we had 2 more GMs to fill two holes, Cincy ASKED if he could move to LA. There was NO good reason for anyone to tell him he couldn't. We found 2 GMs, thus they should be choosing between CIN and MIN.
Everyone's opinions are appreciated naturally, this isn't dictatorship and we all know how you feel about the state of the Reds system and A-Rod. Your opinion has been noted so lets just leave it at that. Its clear that you know how to put a team together and not all other GMs have been blessed with your success (me included), but realize that does not mean all GMs will think or act the way you do so understand when people don't agree with you.

ok I had a long post I was gonna post but I will just leave it alone. key points were stuff about keeping active GM's and stuff but it's not important, I am just gonna worry about my team anymore, I'll just leave the league stuff up to the Presidents and Mike. I will just stop trying to help.

everyone please just forget it....if mike allows me to move to LA then fine....I just dont understand how this has taken some 50 posts over multiple threads...with NO descision made....bottom line in this whole mess comes down to this.... I asked to move before a new GM signed up.....but mike wants the league to be full(which I can understand)....so we are stuck at a crossroad on this until Mike can make up his mind...but there is no guarentee that the league will stay full....LA may want nothing to do with this league now....and honestly if im forced to stay in cincy "for the better of the league"....I cant promise I will stay past Feb(depending on what I could do to get a farm system in place before im not active for a few months)....thats even if i stay at all Jose Canseco

what you need to do is chill out. if you can't stay active in the league then quit. it sounds like you are threatening the league saying that if you don't get what you want you'll leave or be inactive. the league doesn't owe you anything. we can fill open gms spots if we try. but we can manage if we are missing one or two as we did at the end of the year. i just wish you and colorado would stop trying to get the last #$^#$)#&%(#%*$(#$&_)# word in on each other all the time. that is why this thread is 50 posts long. and thats why the rj thread was 50 posts long. you said you wanted a new team. we heard you. hastings or whatever his name is now posted his opinion and so did others. just shut up and wait. because of all of this you are now holding up free agency cause stonemen has to deal with this crap. if you are going to quit the league then just do so now. if you want to be in the league then be in the league and take what you get. just shut up already!

Like I said in my above thread, I am just sticking to worrying about my team, if I see a bad trade I will post a veto, if I see something I don't like I will post a short opinion, if it involves Sean(Cincy or LA or whatever he is gonna be) then I am not gonna say anything about it, just let the League Presidents deal with it. I am done with all this stuff, it's getting ridiculous

it sounds like you are threatening the league saying that if you don't get what you want you'll leave or be inactive. to clarify...Iwas stating im going to continue UNTIL I cant be active for a while....I posted and I told mike the situation around that....but now Im thinking about quitting b/c of all the #$%*&^!%@$# around this(not being a dick that was funny in your post )Its not fun for me anymore as I assume its getting that way for most everyone.... I know I post alot....but sometimes things I post get taken WAY past how I ment them...and thats b/c of when I actually DO get pissed I go WAY over the top...but really I only get pissed or angry at COL...the long "I'll Kill You" type posts...so I'll try and chill out...
