There are, and anyway no one would actually give guys like these major league contracts anyway, I'm mainly just trying to fill out my minors (except for ATL and Tom Johnson haha).

Nope, no MLC's anymore. An MLC was a 3 year deal at 500k I believe. When you sign someone, you can assign them to any level, though, so no FA contract (unless given a ML clause) requires you to put the player in ML.

I really don't see why I can't sign him to a minor league contract. I've signed about 7 others to them already in the offseason free agency. Also, like I said before, who is going to pay this guy a major league contract? It makes it so that younger people who get cut have no chance at making it back into a minor league system. If this were real life (which minor league contracts are allowed in), all these players would love the chance to get back with a team and prove themselves rather than rot in a free agency pool for their existance because they need to get paid major league contracts to play minor league ball. No offence but if this is a rule it is a pretty bad one.

actually a minor league contract is possible it is just a 4 year 500K deal and while in minor leagues it is worth 250K.... Basically posting MLC is actually posting 4 year 500K

A minor league contract would be like Frank Sutherland, they get paid 4 yrs $500k when they reach the majors.

COL is right. We had them, but then minimum salaries increased to 500K. But it's 3 years and not 4 for a MLC. So a MLC now is basically 4 years, 500K. But when a guy is in the minors he only makes half of his salary, so he gets 4 years 250K.
If he gets called up before those 4 years are over he then makes the full 500K, but no extension on the years.

well thats not how it works in UCSL, in UCSL you can't sign a FA without money going to them and the minimum is 500K, the 4 years 500K is considered a minor league deal. For one this is because you aren't allowed to sign a FA without giving compensation(the min. being 500K per year) and because this way 2 teams can't offer minor league deals and the agent would have to choose which team is better, by giving a money value it ensures a way to determine who he signs with. Either way thats just how UCSL is
