I think it'd be a good trade for him, just Beltre plays a position that his best player plays.

hate to break this party up, but unless you're involved in the deal (either a trading team or a sponsor) or vetoing the trade, you're not supposed to post in here. please try to keep it that way!

Beltre is going to 3rd, Stokes to 1st (which is also his position) and Mahoney to LF. All 3 players are at the position where they are at their best. Everyone has been saying that my pitching is top notch but my hitting was lacking so I thought by adding Barfield and Beltre, that should brighten my future. We shall see.

IDK who FLA sponser is(dunno if he has one yet) but im not waiting....
Veto and here's why...
FLA is being took to the shed on this...Beltre is 30 and makes a TON of errors....and to get a 30/30 guy(30 yrs old and 30 errors) he paid a fairly good RP in Quinlan and FLA 1'st which will be in the top 20(now FLA thinks it will be the last pick but it wont) and Tommy Schmidt(who is like Ryan Carter but better...they both were brought up wrong BUT at least Schmidt performed at every level...though neither will probably ever amount to anything)

do who is going to be the trade commitee? HOU didn't even have time to say whether he accepted or declined this lol (btw he is the sponsor). So much for regulations lol
But yeah, is this going to the trade commitee?

The TC will consist of the following... COL, MIL, MIN, TEX with the tiebreaker being ANA.
Both GM's please post within 24 hours your reasoning for the trade.

Technically FLA's sponsor needs to say he accepts before we even go this far. If he accepts then we can do a TC.

my reasoning for the trade: 1. great bat - now half my line up is SLUG close/over .600 2. Schmidt - AA player - useless for me in ML now (maybe ever) 3. Quinlan - hasn't pitched a single ball yet (perhaps he has and I missed it)(I'm new) 4. my first pick might be a late pick (this yr was #16) and I heard that anything past 10 or so is kinda useless In general - great bat for next to nothing. Like buying something on sale. I'm not arguing with any of you that are vetoing this trade, I appreciate all your input and ideas. I am new and perhaps I missed something. Thanks in advance.
