we'll hold off on this for now while we decide whether or not presidents should be allowed to trade for players.

The league vote shows a majority (16 of 17 current votes) support the league presidents being able to purchase picks and players for SD.
After discussing with CIN, we're deleting/not counting the previous protests (since they were made under different circumstances) and opening a new 24 hour period to veto from now until roughly 9:45 pm ET tomorrow (obviously we'll go by the exact time, but idk exactly what time this will be posted). So to clarify: if you want to veto this, you have until tomorrow night to do so. If the two teams that vetoed before don't get a chance to review the trade and want to veto after that, they will be given the chance to do so since they already have.

since there is a Tie nothing should be done here until its resolved....
also I think the threads should be locked/delted(sorry hoagie thought about it but its easier if once we know what is going on with SD THEN post any of these trades) but thats just my opinion

the tie does not have any effect on this, it's between the presidents only being able to purchase picks and players or being able to purchase picks and players as well as trade players. so it has no effect on purchasing players.
no more protests have been made in 24 hours, so unless mike says something otherwise, this trade passes.

all SD trades will be put on hold until mike decides whether or not OAK can take over SD. if OAK doesn't take over SD, the LA trades will go through (since they passed) and the MIL trade will go to TC.

go ahead and cancel the trades that were made the last few days as SD being GM'ed by other teams cause they have a new GM and they can now talk trades for themselves

actually I think it is best to just cancel them because then there is no hard feelings from the new GM having to make a decision on them. If he liked them he can get ahold of the GM's and talk to them about them afterward. Keeping these and having SD ok them and then the sponser decide on them and all that is just to much of a hassle, just pretend these never happened and move on would be better.
