I was under the impression you were only allowed 7 year max deals including options.
Rockies offer 7 years at 15 Mil per year
Incentives of 1 Mil for ERA under 2.6
Incentives of 1 Mil for 280+ K's
Incentive of 2 Mil for WS appearance, extra 1 Mil for team winning WS.
could end up totaling 7 years total of 140 Mil dollars

just to show you guys how outrageous this is getting on Santana(not that I care) but take a look at this
A-rod and my 5 SP's Francis Chacon Tadano Phelps and Proctor(im not including Pienro in this) make 24.836 millon and Sanatana makes 24.4 millon
So ladies and gnetlemen for the price of one Johan Sanatan you could have A-rod and one complete 1-5 SP staff for only pennies more
