Mets accept. We give up a lot talent but get a lot of talent.

veto, a dh and good fielder who gets a lot of singles for a #2-#3 SP, bernard is pretty much a throw in, a #5 SP, and a 50th overall pick (last season was a #5 SP).

I am gonna have to agree with BAL on this one.
Sean Smith is a #2-#3 SP on alot of teams rotations Terry Jones is a #4-#5 SP on alot of teams rotations and Bob Bernard is alot better than Sam Jones
If the roles were reversed, and Gonzalez was going to the AL then ya it could be passable, but the AL team that can use a DH is trading said DH(who has no range, no arm, no speed, and bad fielding) to a NL team that can't use a DH? I dunno just seems rather odd to me, and makes this deal VERY lopsided.
I am gonna have to veto... Please don't take it personal Bos or NYM's cause it really isn't, I just really don't think this is close to passable.

gonzalez isn't going to play SS, he's going to play 1b. .967 means he'll make an error 33 times every 1000 chances...not something that frightens me.
lets see how this applies to MY team.
smith-my 6th pitcher jones-my 7th pitcher bernard-my backup SS/2B 2nd round pick-dont really care about, i have another
what i get- adrian gonzalez-my starting 1b, trade bait for the AL sam jones-my backup 2b
so what you're saying is the fact that i'm trading 3 backups and a 2nd rounder for a starter and a backup HURTS THE LEAGUE?
(and btw, SDs starting 1b is Eric Hinske, with a .948 fld%...and he's in 1st place, ahead of COL right now).

I have to say this is a bad trade for both sides but doenst hurt the league....if NYM wants a DH in the NL its his team...if BOS wants to trade a great bat for 2 crappy SP's....fine let him its his team....might not be a blockbuster or even a good trade....but not bad for the league....everyone knows NYM and BOS not trying to ruin the league so no harm no foul

I posted my veto, thats not gonna change if there is another one it goes to TC if not it passes, I just don't see how a NL team trading for a 1st baseman that will get 50 errors a season is not bad for the league when they are giving a top defensive SS with a really nice bat, a decent SP and a bad SP, and a 2nd round pick. I think it IS bad for the league, sorry if you didn't get that from my first post.

I'm sorry. I was planning on not saying anything in this post but finally I have to say something. First of all, BAL and COL or any sponsor and the team that they sponsor along with any relatives of anyone should no be allowed to veto the same deal. Its jsut plain corrupt. Second, this is a completely fine trade and this definetly does not hurt the league. If this trade even goes to the trade committee, I'm definetly out of the league because this league has obviously been so corrupted and fake (meaning behind the back secrecy) that this league has jsut turned into a complete joke. It is the responsibility of the GM to control how they want their team to be formed and COL is basically swaying the league constantly (including his so called "alliances" with BAL, CINN and other teams as well) on whether to even veto a trade or do anything. I am sorry but if this deal along with the league doesnt shape up, then I am just going to leave. Obviously me leaving isnt really that big of a deal for anyone since the majority of the league either dislikes me or believes that i ruined my team, but i promise you that i wont be the first and last one to leave is progress isn't made.

i misread the stats of keppel, and simon's got a better 1st pitch and he's out, although smith's .176, .259, .318 in AA most of the year is really good, and 1st 2 starts in AAA with .125, .263, and .250 seems like he will be a great pitcher. I'd say 4th in rotation at worst, and simon and smith are interchangeable at 4th, keppel is in there too.
and to boston, colorado and i have an alliance? but anyways i said i was going to veto before he even mentioned the trade.

well as for a team that has a sponser not being able to veto, it's BS and makes no sense, as for BAL vetoing, he did it before I said a word to him, he actually came to ME and said "NYM's agreed to that? " so get off that shit, he has proven he knows what he is doing in evaluating talent. Trust me he is better at this right now than quite a few GM's in the league. As for Boston saying I corrupted the league, fuck you. I didn't corrupt anything, I stated an opinion, how about instead of being a little bitch about it, wait and see if there is a 3rd veto, if there is and it doesn't pass through TC, how about just trying to re-work it? I mean shit, you cry to much...... black

when did I exagerate??? You constantly say you are gonna leave if your trades get vetoed, you always make things personal just because of a veto, all I did was veto your trade, I posted it wasn't personal, but you had to make it personal. I am not the problem with the league, people like you threatening to quit cause of a veto, and making shit personal is what is pulling the league down, trying to turn it on me? Fine I am used to it, I don't care, just grow the fuck up and deal with a veto, it got vetoed by 2 GM's 1 more it goes to TC if not 1 more than it passes so just STFU sit back and see what happens, stop being a bitch.
