My proposal is that when a team protests, they have to list reasons why the trade is detrimential to the league. Also I think Mike should be able to reject a protest if its obvious that the protest is "personal" or not detrimential to the league.
Basicly you can't just say, "he could get more" or "I wouldn't do that deal"
We have lost GM's b/c there is WAY to much fucking protesting in this league...now we did away with the Trash Talk Board b/c we were losing GM's...I think this problem needs addressed as well.

Put on your big girl pants and deal with it!
Every time you get a deal protested, you wine like a little girl and try to get rules changed.
This is why Rudy wanted you out of his league. You wine and bitch about every little thing. Come on, we all know you are 30 going on 14.

I do agree. Every protest needs to have a reason stated.

I do agree. Every protest needs to have a reason stated. I think they are supposed to have reasons stated with or to at least say that they agree with the reason the first person protested, but the veteran GMs have gotten lazy I think

I have bitched about this for a few years now...its bullshit that teams dont have to list a reason the trade is harmful to the league...we have alot of bullshit protests just b/c people dont like people and thats fucked up...
as for you and your bullshit dustin...its fucked how you veto that trade especially after getting ARI #1 last yr for Jimmy fucking Rollins, who had a worse year the Pierre...but hey like you said, "I can't just veto Jeff's shit..gotta make it look fair"

ARI 1st was a bottom 5 pick last year if I remember correctly, FLA was a .500 team and their pick is 16th. Rollins had an OPS of .776 this year with 49 SB's and last year he had an OPS of .818 with 46 SB's. I don't see how either is a worse season than an OPS of .716 with 77 SB's. I mean Pierre had 86 runs and 48 RBI's which are lower than both of Rollins years(106 and 92 runs and 87 and 74 RBI) to say that Rollins had a worse year than Pierre either of those years is ridiculous. To prove it is ridiculous look at this:
Pierre and Rollins differnce in OPS- Rollins +.06 Pierre and Aguila differnce in OPS- Pierre + .044
"Lets also look at the player Pierre will replace in CF, Chris Aguila. He hit a measly .269/.323/.349 The only thing he did do was play defense well, other then that this guy had NO right to be in the ML, period."
That is what you said when comparing Pierre to Aguila but then you say that Pierre had a better year than Rollins but the difference between the 2 is bigger in advantage of Rollins than the difference of Aguila and Pierre.
Basically the deal is bad because of the 1st round draft picks last year Pierre's vitals have him having the worst OBP vs L, SLG% vs L, OBP vs. R and 5 worst SLG% vs. R of the entire 1st round of hitters. This is the 16th pick in the draft so that cuts out half of the players selected.
The deal is bad, the Marlins is new, his brother has already lost his first rounder to you 3 years in a row and look how his team looks because of you. Why would the Marlins who are in a division that has 3 teams that won 93+ games including 2 playoff teams. This is a team that finished 28 games out of the division and 14 games out of the WC which was an improvement over last year. Is Juan Pierre really the peace that will improve his team 14 games and sneak into the playoffs?
THE REASON THE DEAL IS BAD FOR THE LEAGUE IS BECAUSE THIS IS ANOTHER TEAM TRADING HIS 1ST ROUND PICK FOR AN OLD AVERAGE PLAYER THAT WON'T MAKE HIS TEAM A CONTENDER.

Sean, why don't you atleast search a trade before talking about it. Az got my 2nd in the deal as well. So the trade is completley different. Not to mention that Rollins was coming paid for. 7 mil hiden cash i nthe trade.
