The Brewers send Paul Rubens and CIN #1 pick in the upcoming draft to the Dodgers, for RP Luis Enrique Gonzalez. Hard for the Brewers to do, but we need help.
Good Luck to LA.

all i gotta say is thats a far cry from what u wanted me to pay for Gonzo. I think MIL wins this trade by far

Cincy's pick will be a better player than Gonzo. I think this trade just shows why Sean will win a title before Jason.

The only reason Sean will win a title before me is because in 4-8yrs he won't have the dominant PHI and COL teams I have had to try to compete with.

haha Dustins more than Jeff's? hmm 4-8 years my team will have
Hitting 31-35 year old David Wright 30-34 year old Roy Williams, Jose Reyes, Anthony Gwynn and Daric Barton 29-33 year old Lastings Milledge 34-38 year old Albert Pujols 27-31 year old Gaylord Focker
hmm thats 7 batters that will be in their prime or just starting to decline and Pujols at 38 will still be hitting 45 HR's
Pitching I will have- 30-34 year old Edwin Jackson 31-35 year old Sean Burnett, Stew Armas, Ryan Wagner 32-36 year old Carlos Zambrano 33-37 year old Ben Sheets 26-30 year old Billy Downs 25-29 year old Dave Paul
and who is to say I don't trade off Sheets Zambrano or Pujols in the next 3 years to get a couple younger guys? Even if I keep my exact team my oldest batter will be 38 years old and thats Albert frickin Pujols and my oldest pitcher will be 37 and thats Ben Sheets.
My team will be far from out of it in 4 years and with some moves will be in very good shape in 8 years. Either way almost every team in my division are more than 8 years away from competing with what I'll have on the field by then.
in 8 seasons when CIN team is gonna be filled with tons of young great players my team will be filled with tons of great veteran players. I think the team I have is set to make the playoffs and compete for the next 10 years with no moves.

it will be alot sooner then 8 seasons before my guys all hit the ML...
Ron Hoffman-2012 Larry Jennings-2012 Charlie Hustle-2012 ASB Hayden Penn-2013 Harry Garcia-2013 Dave Buskey-2013 maybe ASB Rick Williams-2013 Jimi Hendrix 2014 (maybe 2013 ASB if I am in contention for Central) Mark McGwire Jr-2015(maybe 2014 ASG) Rickey Henderson Jr-2015 ASG
could change slightly, but not too much...

thats what I was saying, you are going to have at the least 5 years of my guys still basically in their primes while your entire current farm system is in your ML's and me and PHI both have more than 10 great players so its not like anything will be handed to you if you end up winning a WS before 2020

Pujols at 38 will still be hitting 45 HR's he hasnt hit 45 since u left Coors...your in the #2 hitters park and he is not no pace to break 45...why do you think he'll be doing it at 38 and not 29? but I do agree I will still have a hell of a time in the playoffs when that team is all in ML...
