This thread is for voting on the rule(s) listed below. The topic is Compensation Picks.
Please, NO DISCUSSION in this thread, as this has already been done.
Vote either YES or NO to the rule as it currently is proposed, by replying to the thread.
Voting will end at the conclusion of the World Series.
The 5 teams with the largest win improvement from the previous season would gain a compensation pick between rounds 1 and 2.*
*A team who won 85 or more games the 1st season would not qualify for the pick.
*Furthermore, this would begin taking effect with the 2009 draft (not the 2008 draft, which is next season's), due to teams tanking this season.

NO WAY unless I got a compensation pic kin the upcoming dfraft becuase last year I didn't tank and im gonna improve by at least 20 wins this year

Hmm....a good (and obvious) addition to this rule would be "No team that was disciplined for tanking in a year before being among the 5 most improved will be eligible"...
