It has been rumoured and confirmed by a source within the organization that KC is ready to deal Mike Sweeney, not Juan Gonzalez. "We are in serious conversations with several clubs. Some have deals for help for the future and others have deals on the table for help for today. We're just weighing our options. Who knows, maybe we'll just keep him."

Peter Gammons and Chris Mortenson have both come with breaking news, it appears as though the Colorado Rockies are not done trading this offseason, at a recent news conference the Rockies GM had this to say...
Dan O'Dowd: "I would just like to inform all of our fans that we are still looking for a way to shake things up. We are happy with the team we have put together, but I am a GM that gets bored very easily, I don't like to be bored, so I am looking to make some moves to shake things up, and get everyone excited about the upcoming season. "
Well I don't know about you, but I can't wait to see what this is all about.

It is being rumored that Dan O'Dowd is looking to commit murder, Jason Giambi has been upset lately for being put behind his brothers spot-light, Jason wants to be the number one Giambi, but a recent crack pot journalist, during a season preview of the Rockies, has said that Jeremy Giambis is going to do great things for the Rockies, Jason doesn't think his brothers defense is that bad, although in LA facing the line-up the Rockies have put together, Jeremy will have alot of errors, Jason still thinks he should be the focus of the Giambi attention not Jeremy. Jason being upset has infuriated Dan O'Dowd, and the journalist will most likely pay. Although this report in no way is saying that Mr. O'Dowd(man that sounds weird) is planning on killing anyone, because if we were, then that would incriminate the Rockies GM, and prob. get him sentenced to prison time. This journalist would never do that to Dan O'Dowd, no matter how INSANELY BORED I AM. WELL HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND FOLKS, ST is ready to start.

Peter Gammons reports that he has heard from sources within the Angels organization that they already have their next closer set, and are very actively shopping All Star Closer Jason Isringhausen.
Isringhausen, who earned the save in the All Star game, has been brilliant this year for Anaheim, posting a 5-0 record, 17/19 Saves, and a 1.48 ERA. Anaheim is looking to move him because they don't want to sign him long term, due to Francisco Rodriguez being ready to close.
Word has it that they are looking for a big bat to DH, possibly a starting pitcher, or a combination of prospects, along with a younger ML reliever.
